Expansion Pack

Since our contract with Whole Foods (and before) we have been pushing hard to expand in every way possible. We needed more ewes and more ground to support more sheep! Do you believe everything happens for a reason? It’s hard for us not to when we weren’t sure how we could acquire more ground and within a matter of days two different neighbors approached us about leasing their properties.

Luckily, we were able to acquire both of those new leases from neighbors! One that touches our property, and the other just across the road. With these two leases we gained over 270 acres of grazing ground. And since we had more ground, why not purchase more sheep?

We were able to purchase new mature ewes from our lamb buyer and grew even more! We are now approaching 300 ewes. These ewes were already GAP 4 certified as well, so we knew they fit our standards.

Oh, and we got two new livestock guardian dog puppies 🥰. Because we need more protectors for our sheep, and they were so cute!
